Biblical Principles Regarding Finances – Part 2 (Mark 12:41-44)
5. Identify your spending boundaries. (Proverbs 22:3a)
6. Know where your money is going. (Luke 14:27-29)
7. Start a savings program. (Proverb 21:20)
8. Develop sales resistance. (Galatians 5:17, 6:8)
The inability to develop sales resistance or impulse spending is nothing less than the inability to resist the temptations of the flesh.
9. Do not barrow if at all possible. (Romans 13:8; Proverbs 22:7)
10. Give God a chance to supply your need. (Philippians 4:19)
Why God does not meet your needs:
– You do not need it.
– He is testing your faith.
– He has supplied the money, but you have misspent it.
– God maybe directing you to a major change in your life.
11. Identify ways to cut spending.
12. Work as a team. (Amos 3:3)
