“Remember” in the New Testament

1. We should always remember the Words of Jesus Christ. (Luke 22:61, 24:6; John 14:26, 15:20, 16:4; Acts 20:35)

2. We are to remember the Bible. (Jude 17)

3. Always remember the Gospel of Christ. (2 Timothy 2:8; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Ephesians 2:9-11)

4. We are to remember God’s promises. (Luke 1:22-24, 1:67, 72; 2 Corinthians 1:20)

5. We should remember God’s provisions. (Matthew 16:7, 9; Philippians 4:19)

6. We need to remember God’s judgement. (Hebrews 2:6; Jude 5)

7. We are to remember God’s warnings. (Acts 20:31; 2 Thessalonians 2:4-5)

8. We are to remember the works of ministers. (1 Corinthians 11:2; 1 Thessalonians 2:9; Hebrews 13:7-8)

9. We are to remember other believers. (1 Thessalonians 1:3)

10. We need to remember those who suffer. (Galatians 2:10; Colossians 4:18; Hebrews 13:3)

11. We need to pray for those who have failed. (Remember Lot’s wife – Luke 17:32, 9:62)

12. We are to pray for those who are in authority. (Titus 3:1; 1 Timothy 2:1-2)

13. You are to remember your Christian growth. (2 Peter 1:5-9, 12)

14. You need to remember your need for balance. (2 Timothy 2:14)

15. We are to remember our need for repentance. (Revelation 2:5, 3:3)
