The Granting of Salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9)
What does it mean to be saved?
1. It is by grace – It is a choice
2. It is through faith
3. It is not of works – It is not by human efforts
You can not add anything to salvation.
– Just because you go to church does not make you saved.
– Being a member of Faith Baptist Church will not save you.
– Getting baptized will not save you.
– Taking communion does not save you.
– Participating in the sacraments will not save you.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
