The Supremacy of the Local Church
1. People today often do not see the importance of going to church.
2. The church is Christ’s church.
3. One must accept Jesus Christ to be part of his church.
4. Local churches should be miniatures of the body of Christ.
5. Churches that do wrong are not representing Christ’s church.
Three Main Points
1. The context of the local church exist to teach the excellencies of God.
2. The content – Christ is your authority, you are His body, you need to be filled with the Spirit of God.
3. And if it becomes a conviction to you and it’s not just a sermon; if you are not saved, you need to accept Christ. If you are saved, you need to be baptized. If you are saved and baptized, you need to get in there, roll up your sleeves and work for the church! Why? Because it gives the display of God.
