Three Beliefs of an Unhappy Christian
1. God is unable to protect. (Exodus 14:10-12)
A. Slavery was better than death. (Exodus 14:11)
B. Serving Egypt was better than serving God. (Exodus 14:12)
The truth is that God had already protected them. (Exodus 8:22-23; 9:4-7, 25-26; 10:21-23; Exodus 11; 14:27-20)
2. God can not provide. (Exodus 16:1-3)
A. It was better to have prosperity than to be in the will of God.
B. God does not understand our needs.
The truth is that God had already provided for them abundantly. (Exodus 12:35-36; 16:11-15)
3. God is not present. (Exodus 17:1-7) (1 Corinthians 10:2-5)
A. God can not be trusted.
B. God does not see.
If you want to be a happy Christian, than believe God is able to protect, believe God is able to provide and believe God is always present.
