b. Contentment with your current state (Proverbs 1:22, 32)

d. Hatred for knowledge (Proverbs 1:22, 29)

e. Forgetfulness of wisdom (Proverbs 3:1, 3, 21)

f. Pride in our own wisdom (Proverbs 3:5-7)

2. Curses for rejecting wisdom:

a. Future calamity and fear (Proverbs 1:26-27)

b. Removal of an opportunity for wisdom (Proverbs 1:28)

Questions for personal evaluation:

– Have you allowed yourself to be enticed by sin?

– Have you been content with you current state of wisdom?

– Have you laughed at godly, Biblical advice?

– Have you been simply rejecting God’s wisdom?

– Have you been forgetful of wisdom that you maybe once had?

-Have you been proud in your own wisdom always assuming you have all of the answers?
