Understanding Temptations (James 1:13-15)
I. Never Blame God for Your Temptation to Sin
A. God cannot be tempted with evil.
B. God never tempts any person.
C. Recognize God is only and always good.
II. Recognize Sin Starts in Your Lusts (James 4:1-2; 2 Timothy 3:6; Ephesians 2:3; Romans 13:14)
A. Our lust is deceitful. (Titus 3:3; 1 Timothy 6:9-10)
B. Our lust is accumulative. (1 Timothy 6:9; 1 John 2:15-17; Romans 1:24; Ephesians 2:2-3)
III. Lust Yielded to Produces Sin
IV. Sin not Dealt with Produces Death
